GRIDpad tablet.
Samsung invented the first tablet in 1989. They called it the GRIDpad. It was bigger and heavier than the tablets we have today. You used a pen with it!
Then Jeff Hawkins invented a smaller tablet called the Palm Pilot in 1996. It used theGRIDpad’s pen. The Palm Pilot was really cool!

John Logie Baird didn’t invent the television. Many people worked together to invent the television. But Baird showed the first television pictures to people. The first television pictures were black and white. Baird showed the first color pictures to people on July 3, 1928. The first television used a telephone to send pictures!
