In a film, the camera makes a lot of decisions for you: what direction to look, where to focus and what to listen to. In a live performance, your brain changes its attention from one thing to another. In the theater, it is a real live person directly in front of you. There is a kind of conversation between performers and audience during a live show that simply cannot be there when you are watching a film. What is better: theatre or cinema? Why?
